Volunteers are the life-blood of Kids Voting Minneapolis. With approximately 130 precinct polling places, Kids Voting Minneapolis needs nearly 400 volunteers to assist students in casting their ballots.
Our goal is to staff each polling place with two volunteers per shift. (Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.)
There are two volunteer shifts on Election Day:
Our community needs you. Our kids need you. Elect to get involved!
All volunteers are encouraged to attend a one-hour training session. Volunteer training will take place throughout the month of October. Once the times, dates and locations of volunteer training sessions are established, they will be posted on our website.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Training is provided. At each of the Minneapolis precinct polling places, up to six Election Day volunteers are needed. Volunteer shifts are three hours long. Volunteers may sign up for more than one shift on Tuesday, Nov. 4th.
